The Walt Disney Co. is joining fellow multimedia giants NBC Universal and News Corp. as stakeholders and providers of content to the growing TV Web site. Disney is promising to distribute a host of programming via the service, including such ABC staples as Lost, Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty.

So far this year, the interactive talks have been at least interesting. They highlight some of them on their Web site.
Newspaper Web sites are doing better than ever, but revenues are still declining. According to the Newspaper Association of America, citing Nielsen statistics, says unique visitors are up 12 percent. The LA Times saw a 73 percent increase from 2007 to 2008.
